Best Bedsheet Brands in India Online: Your Guide to Top Choices

Best Bedsheet Brand in India Online

We’ve been selling bedsheets for a while now — to home buyers, to hotels, to people furnishing their first apartment. And the one thing we hear over and over is: “I ordered online and it looked nothing like the photo.”

That’s the real problem with buying bedsheets online in India. Not the price, not the delivery — it’s the trust gap. You can’t feel the fabric. You can’t see the actual colour. You’re going entirely on faith.

So instead of writing the usual “top 10 tips” article, we want to tell you exactly what we’ve learned from supplying bedsheets to 15+ hotels and 3,000+ customers — what actually matters, what doesn’t, and how to not get burned.

The Fabric Question — This Is Where Most People Go Wrong

Walk into any bedsheet brand’s website and they’ll tell you their fabric is “premium”, “ultra-soft”, and “hotel-quality”. Everyone says this. It means nothing without context.

Here’s what actually matters for Indian homes specifically:

GSM (grams per square metre) tells you how dense the fabric is. Too low (under 90 GSM) and the sheet feels thin and cheap. Too high (over 160 GSM) and it feels heavy — not great when it’s 35°C in May. For year-round comfort in India, 110–130 GSM is the sweet spot. Our bedsheets sit at 125 GSM for exactly this reason.

Thread count gets hyped up far more than it deserves. A sheet with 200 thread count made from good cotton will feel better than a 600 thread count sheet made from poor quality yarn. Focus on the base fabric, not the number.

Colour fastness is the thing nobody talks about but everyone notices — after the third wash, does the colour still look the same? This comes down to the dyeing process, not just the fabric. It’s one of the main reasons we get repeat customers. Our colours hold.

What We Actually Sell — and Who It’s For

We keep our range focused on purpose. We’d rather do a few things really well than offer 500 options that are all mediocre.

The Elite Range — Our Everyday Workhorse

This is what most of our customers buy. 125 GSM blended fabric, solid colours with subtle patterns, comes with two pillow covers. It’s not the fanciest thing in the world — but it washes well, stays soft, and looks good month after month.

The gray and blue shades in this range are our top sellers. They work with almost any room colour and don’t show light staining the way white does.

Starting at ₹599. Fits standard double beds (230 × 240 cm).

The Flames Range — For Rooms That Have a Personality

Bold colour combinations. Not for everyone — but if your bedroom has actual character and you want the bedsheet to match, this is it. The yellow-gray combination has been surprisingly popular with people who wouldn’t normally pick yellow.

Starting at ₹699.

What We Supply to Hotels

Hotels care about two things more than anything else: how the bed looks to a guest checking in, and how easy the linen is to maintain at scale. That means crisp, clean colours that photograph well, fabric that survives industrial washing, and sheets that stay flat — no bunching, no pilling.

If you run an Airbnb, a guesthouse, or just want your spare bedroom to feel like a proper hotel room — this is the range to look at.

Size Guide for Indian Beds

This is something that confuses a lot of buyers because Indian bed sizes don’t always match international standards. Here’s a simple reference:

  • Single bed: 150 × 225 cm sheet
  • Double bed (most common in India): 230 × 240 cm sheet
  • King size: 270 × 270 cm or larger

Always measure your mattress — especially if it’s thick (over 8 inches). A thick mattress needs extra fabric on the sides to stay tucked in properly. All our product pages list exact dimensions so you know before you order.

The Questions We Get Asked Most

“Will the colour look the same in person?”

We photograph our products in natural light, and we don’t over-edit. What you see is very close to what you get. That said, every screen displays colours slightly differently — if you’re unsure between two shades, go darker. Darker shades also hide wear better over time.

“How do I wash this without ruining it?”

Cold water, gentle cycle, mild detergent. That’s it. Don’t use hot water — it shrinks fabric faster than anything else. For dark-coloured sheets, dry in shade rather than direct afternoon sun. And don’t wring — just let it drip dry or spread it flat.

“What if it doesn’t fit my bed?”

We have a simple return policy — doorstep pickup, no hassle. Email us at help@ginnora.com or WhatsApp us and we’ll sort it. We’d rather lose the sale than have you stuck with something wrong.

“How long will it last?”

With normal use and proper washing — 2 to 3 years easily. Some of our hotel clients have been washing the same stock weekly for over a year and they still look presentable. That’s the kind of durability we aim for.

One Thing We’d Tell a Friend

Don’t judge a bedsheet by how it feels in the packet. Fabric often loosens and softens after the first wash — so give it one wash before you decide whether you love it or not. Most people who weren’t sure initially come back and reorder after the first wash. That’s just how good fabric works.
